MPI Artists a music agent and promoter for over 20 years have been known for programming venues and festivals and representing a host of Irish and international artists. In recent years we have expanded the company to organising festivals throughout Ireland. MPI’s flagship event is the Púca Festival which runs every Halloween across the towns of Trim and Athboy in Co. Meath. As part of MPI Artists' festival portfolio, we’re also proud to bring you Waterford Harvest Festival this September 6th to 8th in the heart of Waterford City. Co.Waterford. Now in its 15th year Waterford Harvest Festival returns from September 6 - September 8, 2024 celebrating great food and the people who produce it. Taking place in venues across Waterford City.  Harvest Festival promises to be a treat for the senses with food demos and talks, honey making, storytelling, fine dining experiences, fantastic food offerings from local restaurants, live music and lots of free family entertainment across the city.  

From the Blaa to organic wine discover what makes Waterford producers great with a jam-packed programme of events during Waterford Harvest Festival on September 6-8. 2024. With over 43,000 visitors in 2023 Waterford Harvest Festival is looking forward to welcoming you to the Viking City this September.

Now in its 15th year Waterford Harvest Festival celebrates great food and the people who produce it. Taking place in venues across Waterford city, Harvest Festival promises to be a treat for the senses with food demos, honey making, storytelling, fine dining experiences and live music. 

Food lovers will be overcome with options as Harvest Festival 2024 boasts a diverse range of mouthwatering events to get your taste buds excited. On September 7 a selection of  Taste Waterford members supported by LEO Waterford will present cooking demos from local chefs and producers including Nì Bhrian Restaurant, IASC Seafood Bistro & Legacy Irish Cider, Momo Restaurant, Mara Restaurant & Faithlegg House Hotel. Selling out fast are the curated dining experiences. Already sold out are the Everette's Retro inspired dinner and Chef Keith Boyle's Homecoming Dinner. Limited tickets are still available for multi-awarding winning Momo on Friday, September 6, when they host a Harvest Dinner with wine tasting. Showcasing their wonderful local suppliers and favourite organic wines tickets are €60 for tasting menu + €40 wine pairing. The Harvest Festival Homecoming Lunch with Chef Keith Boyle in City Hall will also feature local producers WD O'Connell Whiskey, Waterford Distillery, and Viking Irish Drinks. Chef Luiz Martin of Mara Waterford has teamed up with Hopeful Brewing to design an 8 course fine dining experience with a 5 beer pairing for €120.

It wouldn't be Harvest Festival without food demonstrations from some of the most exciting and enticing food producers. Taking place across the festival weekend in John Roberts Square learn how some of the best create their signature dishes. Join Smokin' Soul on Friday, September 6, for their cookery demo as they Build, Cook and Teach you the best way to smoke and BBQ food. Check out The Happy Pear duo on Sunday 8th September. It is now twenty years from when they first opened back in 2004 in a tiny veg shop and a dream of helping people to eat more veg. 

This year will also see the return of the Festival Food Market featuring local artisan food producers, coffee roasters and crafts. The Revolution Craft Beer and Whiskey Bar will present a Irish Whiskey Tasting Masterclass In the The Applemarket between 4pm - 5.30pm. Enjoy an Apertif on Friday & Saturday or try your hand at a Cocktail Masterclass at Zanzibar on September 8. Indulge your senses at a Wine Pairing at Adega on Sunday, September 8. This year also sees the return of fan favourite the EWBA and Honeys of the World featuring a selection of honeys from all over the globe available for tasting. There will also be an observation hive on-site with members of the EWBA association on hand to explain all aspects of the fascinating and environmental importance of honey. Ballybeg Greens Festival Garden is a draw for foodies and families alike and is a unique feature of Waterford Harvest Festival. 

Join Jack Burtchaell for The Food History Tour of Waterford City on Friday, September 6 at The Granville Hotel. A one hour tour combining history, food history, humour and lots of things you never knew about Waterford and its fascinating web of historic connections. Tasteful Thinking host a Tasteful Food Tour on Saturday and Sunday mornings from 11AM where you can learn more about the city's food culture and history. Meeting at William Vincent Wallace Plaza experience food from the province, meet local food producers, 

Expanding on last year's event there are now four areas of live music. The Hothouse Flowers show in Christ Church Cathedral is now completely sold out but Classical fans will enjoy soloist Patrick Rafter playing Vivaldi's 4 Seasons featuring members of the RTE Con Tempo Quartet and members of the RTE Concert Orchestra at Christ Church Cathedral on September 6. Meanwhile, music entertainment includes free live performances from by Andy Irvine starting on Friday, September 6 alongside Emma Langford. On Saturday, September 7 Fin Furey will get things going on Broad Street starting at 1pm where he will be joined by the dazzling Blue Belles. On Sunday, September 8 the Dublin City Ramblers are on hand to entertain you as you wander the City Centre.

There is plenty for families to enjoy with storytellers Eddie Lenihan and Helena Byrne bringing tales of mystery, magic and myth to life in the city. Tony Hayes will lead a Glass Master Demo and big and small kids can take part in the WAMA Drumming workshop. Families will enjoy the Art Storm Workshop, Kids Dance Workshop, The Catwalk Chronicles, the Pat Rocket Flashmob, Wobbly's Circus Workshop and Disco Brunch at the Palace.

The festival is supported by Waterford City and County Council, which specified that the festival deliver a green, environmentally sustainable event, while minimising food waste and carbon emissions.
