Lethal Dialect live at The Button Factory, Dublin. Watch the full show on Hot Press Magazine's YouTube channel now !
Lethal Dialect aka Paul Alwright quickly established himself as one of the leading figures on the modern Irish hip hop scene. Active since 2006 and with four albums under his belt, he has never lost sight of the need for the music to speak on behalf of – and to support the interests of – the disadvantaged, the marginalised and the deprived. During 2020, Lethal Dialect returned to action, releasing the acclaimed Lethal Dialect LD50 Part 3.
“What was meant to be a goodbye to an era of oppression has morphed into a record of stark, beautifully crafted rap, backed by lo-fi beats and minimalist guitar,” Tanis Smither wrote in Hot Press. Here, LD and his crew invade The Button Factory, in the centre of Dublin, to play a very special concert.
